Illustration & Creative Direction for greeting cards and licensed products
Working with publishers and charities to shape emotionally clear, commercially confident ranges.

Working with publishers and charities to shape emotionally clear, commercially confident ranges.

I’m currently booking illustration and creative direction work for 2026, working with publishers, charities, and product-led businesses on greeting card ranges and licensed products.
My approach brings together strong illustration, clear creative direction, and commercial understanding.
Availability for early 2026 is limited, with projects already confirmed for January and February. If you’d like to talk about upcoming ranges or longer-term collaborations, I’ll be attending Spring Fair at the NEC and would be happy to arrange a face-to-face conversation.

The craft behind the work
There’s a quiet clarity that comes from making work by hand.
When paint meets paper, each mark is a decision shaped by experience, intention, and feeling. This balance between control and response is at the heart of how I work.
Being hands-on with drawing and painting keeps my creative judgement grounded. It helps me understand what an idea needs, when to push, and when to stop.
That understanding carries through into my wider work, shaping how I develop ranges.

I create illustration-led collections for seasonal and everyday product ranges, including greeting cards, stationery, giftware, tabletop, and homeware.
Work is developed with licensing in mind and designed to translate confidently across formats.

Illustration-led jigsaw designs created for retail, with proven performance in market.
I’ve worked with established publishers including Ravensburger, Wentworth, and Bloom.

Commercially tested designs developed for greeting cards, stationery, and complementary paper goods.
Shaped by over 25 years’ experience designing seasonal and everyday collections for established publishers.
I’m an illustrator and creative director working across fine art and product design, creating original hand-painted work that translates into commercially successful ranges.
My practice bridges traditional making and retail design, with a focus on authenticity, emotional clarity, and work designed to last beyond trends.
